Jessi Barnes

Worked as EGIS’s administrative assistant and has been promoted to  Financial Manager for EGIS Companies.    She has performed everything needed in all positions  including administrative tasks, assisting principle scientist in the field, prep work for scientist on projects, maintaining files,coordinating projects, interacting with other team members, typing reports, editing reports, and scheduling appointments.  Worked on Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, mold inspections, pipeline projects, collection projects, wetland investigations and stream studies.  As Financial Manager all aspects of accounting and financial matters are administed such as  billing, accounts recievable, accounts payable, payroll and financial statement coordination.

In addition, Ms. Barnes has accomplished the start of a successful running career in which she was a three-time high school state champion.  She holds Arkansas’s state record in the 10,000m run and accomplished high standings collegiately in Division one 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, 10000m, and cross country competitions. She is currently training for the Olympic Trials in the 1500m.  In addition she is coaching senior olympians and youth athletes.
