During a Phase 1 ESA, EGIS will work to identify potential sources of contamination, the specific contaminants involved and their location by completing the following procedures:
Review of user-provider records as well as review of available historical photographs
Investigation of readily accessible information available on the site
Site reconnaissance with detailed photographs
Review of a government databases, interviews with local government officials, current & previous owners
Summary of recognized environmental conditions (REC’s) with opinion of potential impact
Strict EPA guidelines must be followed during Phase II & III ESA. Phase II includes Sampling & Testing. Egis collects samples which are then analyzed by a certified analytical laboratory; results are then delivered by report in a complete and timely manner. Phase III, Remediation, includes testing of Underground Storage Tank (UST) Site Assessments/Compliance, Asbestos Consulting & Air.
