EGIS has planted and transplanted more than 250,000 trees throughout the southeastern and Midwestern United States.
The creation and management of urban and rural forests work that EGIS provides is invaluable to our ecosystem and communities. Through Forest Management, EGIS is able to control Storm-water runoff which has become a major concern in urban areas. Through Forest Management, the destructive force of storms, erosion to soil and the flooding of trees can be controlled through the planting and utilization of mature trees. In addition, EGIS provides tree root pruning to improve tree survival in instances where earth moving and construction are in close proximity to trees. For example: construction of streets, subdivision grading, and utility instillation.
Our registered Forester has over 15 years experience in forestry and is qualified in a wide range of areas including forest mapping, tree inventory surveys, development of forest management plans and the design and implementation of tree preservation programs.
